Today is our "not so" Due Date

Looks like the big day has come and gone...not that we expected it be any different. We have 4 days now until the c-section! One last weekend to get the house in order and my mom is coming to town on Monday to get the lay of the land before we are off to the hospital at 5:30 am on Tuesday morning.
Here is a picture of me and Reagan (not so great of either of us) showing off the paper chain that has gotten smaller and smaller, while my belly has gotten bigger and bigger. It was taken on Wednesday - hence the ashes on mom's forehead.

Less than a week to go!

Well we are down to less than week to our official due date, but we still have 9 days until the c-section is planned. I guess only time will tell which one the baby will choose. We had another tiger victory today to celebrate so that was good, but we also had to put Reagan to bed early since she didn't want to take a nap today. I guess that is an acceptable thing when we are both free before 8:00 and she is sound asleep. Plus today she used the potty all day and had no accidents. I knew when she asked to go potty first thing this morning out of bed (with a dry pull-up) that it would be a good day :)
We are hoping to post an updated picture of the belly and the paper chain to show the progress we have been making...and maybe we will show off our new haircuts. Mommy and Reagan went to Great Clips and both had our hair cut...she was a big girl and was good for the lady that cut her hair without having mommy right there with her!

Countdown to Baby2

With this being the month of Feb and my official due date being the 27th it was suggested to us to have Reagan make a paper chain to count down the days until the baby arrives. We have it set for 27 days starting with tomorrow and we used Mar 3rd as the date since that is when the c-section is planned in case this baby plans to stay inside mommy forever like Reagan tried to do. Here is a current belly picture (36 weeks) and a picture of Reagan with her lovely paper change (as she calls it).
