Gemstone Mining

Reagan posing for a picture while "mining some gemstones"  It took awhile to see some results, but after mom helped a bit she was able to free 6 gems from her block.  She has been begging to get this kit open since Christmas and we finally go it opened and she was working on it last weekend.

Papercraft Star...Challenge #30

The challenge was to scraplift a creative team members project.  I choose Liz who has tons of great scrapbooking layouts in her blog.  I have been working on our family's yearly vacation album and I have been stuck on our trip to the Nashville zoo, not knowing where to go with the pages because I have so many pictures.  I wanted a layout that would use a lot of photos so I could limit this event to one two-page spread.  The project I choose is back from Sept '10 and was created for "Nuts about Sketches" weekly layout.  When I checked out that site...I fell in love!  There are so many multi-photo layouts I am so excited to start back up with my album.  Here is the layout that Liz did :)  Thanks for stopping by.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #58

This was my first time to join the Cricut Cardz challnge and it was snow much fun (sorry, couldn't help the pun!)!  The challenge was to use a snowman image on a card.  I don't have any winter cards so I thought it would be fun to use my Paper Dolls carts to dress-up a snowman!
The recipe:  DCWV cardstock and paper, Recollections paper and some scraps, both Paper Dolls carts, and the fonts came from Plantin Scoolbook and Sweet Treats, black buttons from my stash, Silver Stickles, and my Xyron and ZIG glue pens.

Cooking with Cricut - Challenge #13

OK, so I have tackled another blog challenge!  This one is at a great site called Cooking with Cricut and their challenge #13 was to do a layout or card following a sketch and including 3 flowers.  When I thought about flowers and my next scrapbooking projects I thought about the Butterfly Festival we went to last summer on vacation in Paris, AR.  What goes better with flowers than butterflies?  I hope you like it :)

My recipe:  DCWV cardstock and paper, Cricut Accent Essentials, Plantin Schoolbook and Simply Sweet cartridges, Gold and Diamond white Stickels, ZIG 2way glue pens, and some 3D pop dots.

M.A.G Challenge #10

I'm so excited...this is my first time to do a M.A.G. by the page challenge (check it out... MAG Challenge 10). I am so excited and I think I will plan to give this card to hubby for Valentine's day! I used page 69 of the Storybook cartridge to make my card and I used DCWV Cardstock and paper. I also used my ZIG glue pens to assemble the card.

Soup to Share

Reagan finally got to make her soup to share project from her Highlights High Five magazine.

The fall theme one she took for show and tell and gave to her teacher as a gift and the winter theme one we put in her class's fall festival "snow day" basket at school. I used my cricut and my new Stretch Your Imagination cartridge for the cards on the jars...love it!
