Resolution

So another year is here and another chance has come for me to try to update our blog.  I am going to attempt a "project 365" site for this year.  I want to try to post a photo every day this year to let people know what is happening in the lives of team Shane.  So for today I am going to post a family picture we had taken after Sunday Mass before we started our 1st of 4 Christmas celebrations, this one in Jefferson City with the Hancock family.

Back home to see what Santa brought

Reagan was excited to see what was left in mommy and daddy's stockings. She also couldn't wait to get out her guitar and try playing some music :)

Creech Side Christmas

The madness begins :)

Wilson Side Christmas

Poor Kyle lost the best again this year and it was double or nothing between the MU Illini football and basketball games. Kyle was a good sport once again this year!

Creech Christmas

Wil and Reagan were up bright and early Christmas morning and we worked hard to keep them in the bedroom for awhile to hopefully wait until Bennett would show up with Cara and Brice.

Hancock Christmas

It took some arm twisting to get Reagan to get in the picture with her cousins, but Wil was more than willing to jump right in :)

One of Reagan's favorites was her Paula Deen cookbook...Santa told Mike and Carla that she was wanting it!
Here are our annual "women" and "men" pictures :)

Creech Thanksgiving

We had a great time visiting at Grandma Creech's house.

The kids enjoyed watching the neighbor across the street putting up Christmas lights!

Hancock Thanksgiving

My turkey cake pops made another appearance for Thanksgiving so all "the cousins" could try one. They tasted just as good as they looked.

Aunt Carol and Uncle Dave and Kathleen and Alan both were able to make it from KC for the great day and wonderful food!

October 31st

After our Friday trick or treating downtown we got to go to Hy-vee on Sunday to start the real thing. We went around in the store and then made our way home to eat something and then head out in the neighborhood. We had Wil in the stroller for the evening, but he enjoyed getting out of the stroller and making his way to the door himself. He didn't quite say trick or treat, but if you asked him how a tiger goes, he would say (silently) Raaorh...too cute!

Halloweenie

When we go trick or treating downtown the kids have a fun time but there are always lots of people making it hard to get in and out of stores. After we had our fun we went to IHOP with the Schroeder family for some free scary pancakes for the kids!

4th of July

Ok so time for yet another catch-up post. We spent the 3rd of July at the Hentges and had a great time for food and fireworks!

We have found out that we CAN see the fireworks (over at the stadium) well from our deck, so I don't see us ever really getting out into the hassel of things at the stadium. Reagan couldn't (wouldn't) make up her mind if she wanted to go to watch them and by the time she decided she did want to, it was too late and we would never make it. We sat outside with our radio tuned into the wrong station (of course) and enjoyed the show and then we were able to put the kiddos right to bed. Enjoy some of the shots from the Hentges party!
