More teething...

Wil seems to have more trouble with teething than Reagan did...he has 4 teeth and is working pretty hard on the next 2 teeth up you can see he finds all kinds of things to chew on.

What a difference a day makes...

Reagan got a great Snow White apron set for her birthday and once she was all dressed up Shane attempted to get a picture of her and this is what we got...
The next day while she was playing in her kitchen this is the picture I got...

Reagan's 4th birthday Snow White Party

Reagan turned 4 on Nov 23rd and we had her party the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This was no easy task since we were out of town Wed - Fri and than again Fri and Sat (for the MU win over KU!), but we still managed to pull it all off and Reagan still had the Snow White cake she wanted.

It was a blessing to have so much family show up for her party even though cousin Bennett (and Cara and Brice) had to leave early and miss out due to illness. Reagan had a ball as the pictures show!

A Day of Thanksgiving

Here is a a great 4 generation picture taken with Great grandma Wilson and Grandma Creech, Dad and the kiddos. What a great time we had enjoying great food and good conversation (unless you were just one of the guys watching football!)

Here are Reagan and Wilson with cousin Bennett posing together in Great grandma Creech's bath tub. This was the best of all the shots I attempted to get.

Just Leafing Around

Reagan had so much fun last year playing in the leaves so we made sure to get some more pictures this year and Wil got his first chance to play in the leaves (made from our 1 pear tree and 2 burning bushes...isn't it sad most of our leaves are from bushes!). The first picture is Reagan in her "nest" we created from trimmings from 2 of our other bushes.Wil woke up from his nap in time to enjoy the great weather and to get in some pictures!

Happy Halloween

Some pictures of our little penguin and scary ghost...Before we left the house

At Hy-Vee
Downtown where we met up with Miles and Erika (and Shannon and Craig too)!

The aftermath

Homecoming Festivities

We have a great gathering of college friends for Homecoming this year (too bad I don't really have any pictures to prove it!). Took the kids to the parade then Reagan got lunch and a nap before Tailgating and game time! It was fun even though we lost to Texas (I think it was pretty obvious we would lose to them).

It was so cold for the parade...but not sure why Reagan looks a little like a pimp!

Here is Jess posing with Drew and Reagan!

Here is a picture of our food spread it was very good, but could have been more!

Katie Killion didn't make it to the game (neither did Wil) but she was still tuckered out!

Wil's First Tooth

It has been awhile since I have posted (again) but I have a picture of Wil's first tooth! He first showed his little pearly white (bottom right) on Friday Oct 9th and ever since then it has been getting bigger and bigger! He is on the verge of getting both of the top front teeth next!

Exciting Day

We had a great day yesterday, from some great weather and play time outside,

Reagan took this picture all by herself!
to hot air balloons (one of which landed in our back yard),
to some really big spiders and a preying mantis on our deck screen door!

New Stuff

Last week Jeani and I went with the kids to KC for a funeral for my Great Aunt Louise, it was a nice visit with family and while we were there we got to meet Katie Killion who is now 10 days old. It was great to see Jamie, Matt, Drew and Katie. Reagan enjoyed her time to play with Drew and I think Wil has a crush on Katie already! I thought I would add a couple of the pictures that we took! Enjoy.

Wil is 6 months old

So Tuesday we went to the dr. for Wil's 6 month check up! He has been on solid foods for 2 months now, and he loves it. Some foods he has had so far are cereals, sweet potatos, green beans, bananas, peas, applesauce, carrots, and pear and apple juice. He is doing great and is growing like a weed. Here are his stats...

Wt - 15 lb 14 oz (30%)
Ht - 26 1/4" (60%)
Head - 43cm (45%)
Wi is spending some time in the exercauser! Are you ready for some football? (he just loves to grab for anything in our hands...this was one thing he was not allowed to mouth! LOL)

He really likes Reagan's old walker and today he even got it to move, using the box to help him reach the floor!

Baking Day

So Friday the kids and I did some baking...yeah! We made banana bread and Reagan got to help mash and spoon the bananas in, she also helped measure out the sugar and flour and she dumped the eggs into the mixer too. She just loves to help! For Wil it was more of a spectator event...he did enjoy eating some of the mushed bananas in his little mesh feeder bag, though!

Wilson's 4 month check-up

Today Wil had his 4 mo check-up and he is looking good and doing great! He was 24.5 in long (55%) 12 lbs (10%) and with a head size of 41.5 (50%). Because of his weight gain and the good amount of formula he is taking now, the Dr. said we can start him on solids. He had his first taste of Rice cereal (oh, so exciting) tonight and he did pretty well with it. The only trouble I had was not only dodging his hands, which wanted to hold the spoon, was dodging his feet. He found his feet yesterday and it seems like every chance he gets he tries to put his toes in his mouth! It will be better once we get the high chair out and put him in there for meals.

I'm adding a picture of Reagan and Wil napping together last week...too cute!

Weekend in the Heat

We blew up Reagan's pool this weekend and then we had trouble trying to get her out of it! These are some pictures of her and Wilson chilling out in the heat of the day!

This is a picture of them that would have been really cute if it hadn't been for the humidity fogging up my lens :(
