Reagan Spelling

We have had lots of trouble working with Reagan to spell her name...I think the 2 A's get confusing so Shane had a brain child and decided we would use the M-I-Z, Z-O-U chant that Reagan knows to help her to spell her name. Here is a little clip of her spelling this way!

Bennett's Birthday Party 3/10

Here are some pictures from Bennett's birthday party. Luckily it was easy to schedule the two parties with Wil and Bennett's birthdays being only days apart. All of these pictures were taken with Reagan's camera, since ours had uncharged batteries and the card was full LOL!

What a great train cake with little train cars for the party favors...too cute.

The Pink Out (Jan 22)

We have really enjoyed getting to go to MU Gymnastic events at Hearnes and we made it to a few again this year. We made it to the pink out against Iowa State and here are a few pictures.

KC trip to visit the Killions

We got to get away to KC for the weekend and it was a great time! Shane took off from work and we headed up on Friday (the boys got to watch basketball) and us girls and kiddos got to relax and have fun!

You wouldn't have know it was the first day of spring since Saturday brought with it about 8" of snow, but it luckily started to melt away on Sunday and no driveway shoveling was necessary! Reagan was so excited she was finally able to make a snowman...even if it had to come March 20th LOL.
It was great to see Katie (Shane for the first time) and just before we left on Sunday she was beginning to really sit up on her own...so exciting!

Wil's birthday

What a difference a year makes:
Birth - 8.2 lbs 21.5 in
1 yr - 21.9 lbs 29 in

We had a great party and lots of family was able to make it to celebrate with us.

Baking projects

Here are some pictures of Reagan and I working on our Oreo Truffles (inspired from the www.Bakerella.com blog) and Wil is watching us work. The best part is that Shane came home from work with some chocolate covered strawberries for V-day and didn't realize that Reagan and I were making our own.

Here too are the vehicle cakes I made for Wil's birthday. He received Chuck and Friends Tonka trucks for Christmas and that was my inspiration along with wanting to do something really great and original :)
