Papercraft Star...Challenge #30

The challenge was to scraplift a creative team members project.  I choose Liz who has tons of great scrapbooking layouts in her blog.  I have been working on our family's yearly vacation album and I have been stuck on our trip to the Nashville zoo, not knowing where to go with the pages because I have so many pictures.  I wanted a layout that would use a lot of photos so I could limit this event to one two-page spread.  The project I choose is back from Sept '10 and was created for "Nuts about Sketches" weekly layout.  When I checked out that site...I fell in love!  There are so many multi-photo layouts I am so excited to start back up with my album.  Here is the layout that Liz did :)  Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Blog Candy @ Happy Expressions

I just found this great site with wonderful crafty projects.  She is giving away one of her favorite Cricut cartridges to one lucky follower!  I love this cart too, too bad my sister who has it, lives over an hour away from me.  Stop by Happy Expressions to see what is crafting :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #58

This was my first time to join the Cricut Cardz challnge and it was snow much fun (sorry, couldn't help the pun!)!  The challenge was to use a snowman image on a card.  I don't have any winter cards so I thought it would be fun to use my Paper Dolls carts to dress-up a snowman!
The recipe:  DCWV cardstock and paper, Recollections paper and some scraps, both Paper Dolls carts, and the fonts came from Plantin Scoolbook and Sweet Treats, black buttons from my stash, Silver Stickles, and my Xyron and ZIG glue pens.

January Pool Party

Reagan (and Wil) finally got their pool party today after nap.  Wil was feeling a bit under the weather and wasn't sure he wanted to play, until mommy put him in the water and he saw all the fun things to play with.  Both kids had a great time.

Cooking with Cricut - Challenge #13

OK, so I have tackled another blog challenge!  This one is at a great site called Cooking with Cricut and their challenge #13 was to do a layout or card following a sketch and including 3 flowers.  When I thought about flowers and my next scrapbooking projects I thought about the Butterfly Festival we went to last summer on vacation in Paris, AR.  What goes better with flowers than butterflies?  I hope you like it :)

My recipe:  DCWV cardstock and paper, Cricut Accent Essentials, Plantin Schoolbook and Simply Sweet cartridges, Gold and Diamond white Stickels, ZIG 2way glue pens, and some 3D pop dots.

M.A.G Challenge #10

I'm so excited...this is my first time to do a M.A.G. by the page challenge (check it out... MAG Challenge 10). I am so excited and I think I will plan to give this card to hubby for Valentine's day! I used page 69 of the Storybook cartridge to make my card and I used DCWV Cardstock and paper. I also used my ZIG glue pens to assemble the card.

Snowy Playdate

The snow might have been on the way out, but we were able to sled and have lots of fun anyway! I had promised Reagan a playdate with friends back around her birthday (in Nov), but we never got around to it, so we did it this Saturday and got to play out in the snow before coming in to enjoy some yummy pizza fondue!

Our First Snowy Day

Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures. Today during Wil's nap I am planning to shovel and have Reagan play in the snow a bit. I just wonder if her class will be cancelled tomorrow or if they will be back in session by then.

Back home to see what Santa brought

Reagan was excited to see what was left in mommy and daddy's stockings. She also couldn't wait to get out her guitar and try playing some music :)

Creech Side Christmas

The madness begins :)

Wilson Side Christmas

Poor Kyle lost the best again this year and it was double or nothing between the MU Illini football and basketball games. Kyle was a good sport once again this year!

Creech Christmas

Wil and Reagan were up bright and early Christmas morning and we worked hard to keep them in the bedroom for awhile to hopefully wait until Bennett would show up with Cara and Brice.

Hancock Christmas

It took some arm twisting to get Reagan to get in the picture with her cousins, but Wil was more than willing to jump right in :)

One of Reagan's favorites was her Paula Deen cookbook...Santa told Mike and Carla that she was wanting it!
Here are our annual "women" and "men" pictures :)
